Phil Spence -- An interesting video from an Australian nurseryman about an orchid expedition to Papua New Guinea to collect orchids for hybridization. We will try to set up a live link to Australia so he can answer questions.
Jim Davison -- Latouria Dendrobiums via a Zoom link.
Eron Borne -- Phragmipedium culture [with emphasis on those that do better in the deep South] and info on botanical relationships. Eron will bring his Phrags for a hands-on demonstration and sell divisions.
We are going to have AOS judging.
As you know we've been slammed with several recent hurricanes and are not flushed with funds. We are going to ask surrounding SWROGA societies to help contribute to the judges' meals but cannot guarantee that yet. They were generous last year and I'm hoping they will be so this fall. Their donation is also to allow their members to watch the programs by Zoom for no charge. In fact, if you would like to contribute, you can make a donation on the website...Donation Tab at www.bros.wildapricot.org Thank you very much.
Lunch for "In Person" attendees will be on your own. We have a list of local eateries for your convenience.
We are hobby orchid growers with members ranging from novices to experienced growers.
